Interior Designer

Trever Hill has been the owner of Trever Hill Design, formerly known as Home Suite Couture, in Fargo, ND since 2009. He was also recently Specialty Shop Manager of Scheels Home and Hardware.

Sometimes family takes you everywhere you need to be. With an upbringing that led him from the mountains of Spearfish, SD, to the North Dakota prairies of Oakes and Lisbon – Trever found his way to Fargo, ND. Along the way, he had watched his Aunt Lois (a now-retired interior designer) refresh his grandmother’s home, and that moment became the spark that lit the fire. It wasn’t long before he embraced his own creativity, traveling for inspiration and exploring the impact and diversity of design on people, place, and dwellings.

Trever devoted his youth to designing for friends and family, starting a small business called Home Suite Couture, and simultaneously working as a specialty shop manager at a home furnishings retailer in Fargo. In 2009, he left retail behind to pursue his passion with a new dream and new business name, Trever Hill Design. On this path, he founded a home staging company and eventually partnered as an outside design associate at another home design boutique. As his career flourished, so did his pursuit of exemplary design, becoming well-known as a frequent guest on the North Dakota Today Show and popular magazine contributor for Design & Living, Fargo Monthly, and Midwest Nest. Throughout an ever-evolving journey, Trever had won several design challenges and amassed over nine years of People’s Choice, Fargo Forum, and Locals Love Us design awards, consistently recognized as the F-M’s Best Decorator/Designer.

Finding overwhelming success on his own with Trever Hill Design, his career came full circle in the creation of his own high-end home furnishings store and design center. Opening its doors in the early days of a pandemic, Curated Home was a small but mighty hotspot that lured masked shoppers into the hidden beauty of Roberts Alley in downtown Fargo. With a curated and uncommon selection of “found” pieces, custom fabric, hand-crafted home accessories, and sustainable style, his business and team quickly expanded, moving to a larger location in South Fargo’s popular ____ development. Today, he and his growing design team are based inside the new Curated Home in Fargo, ND. Trever Hill Design offers full-scale commercial and residential interior design with a broad range of services from finishes and custom furniture selections to 3D renderings, decorating, staging, mood boards, schedules, and AutoCAD space planning.

With a career now spanning 20 years, Trever and his husband, Jesse, find inspiration wherever they land. Travel sparked his passion and continues to influence his work. When they’re not remodeling their mid-century modern home in Casselton, ND, they’re cross-country jetsetters, traveling often from exclusive Airbnb designs throughout California to renovations and new builds in Arizona, Minnesota, and mountainside Montana escapes. If you’re wondering what happened to Curated’s Roberts Alley store – that’s now Jesse’s Curated Men’s store – another hotspot worth the visit. Swing by Curated Home or Curated Men’s, and you might just meet their family of fur babies, Ruthie May and Kennedy, and their Mini Lop bunny, Beverly (Hill)!

In 2014, Hill was nominated for the Top 5 “Best Of Red River Valley” by The Fargo Forum.

Design Director

Hello! My name is Brooke Weir and I am the Design Director at Trever Hill Design. I grew up in Fargo and then attended college in Fort Worth, TX at Texas Christian University. After college, I continued living in Texas working as an Event/ Design Planner! Eventually, I moved back to ND where I met my husband and joined the talented team of Trever Hill Design! I enjoy working on projects of all types and sizes, but especially enjoy the personal aspects of residential design. Outside of work, most of my free time is consumed by my dogs and horses and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I love spending time at our lake cabin with my family and friends during the summer!

Design Associate

Hey there! My name is Shantel Fagerholt, and I am a design associate at Curated Home by Trever Hill.

I grew up in Grand Forks, ND in a big family, 5 siblings to be exact! After I graduated high school I moved to Fargo, ND and attended NDSU. While attending college I worked at Texas Roadhouse where I was able to grow into a few different roles along the way that taught me a lot about developing and leading a team. After school was done, I was blessed with the opportunity to be a part of their corporate training team and open a new store out in Wyoming. I loved the experience and the state of Wyoming so much that I stayed a whole year!

After moving back to Fargo, I began working for a local builder as an Admin/Sales Assistant. This is where I fell in love with the interior design aspect of the home building process. I loved being around the designers at the company and seeing their talents and visions come to life!

Fast-forward to 2020 and I started working with Trever at his brand-new retail store, Curated Home by Trever Hill. I enjoy the variety that my position has to offer, some days I’m assisting the thD team with a client install and others I’m focused on the store operations. One of my favorite roles in the company is ordering in all of our Matt and Nat product, it’s so fun to bring in an element of fashion and creativity to the store for our clients!

In my spare time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and friends, enjoying the lake in the summer surfing, and of course loving on our little golden doodle Benji!

Hello, I am Roberta Lemnus, the self-proclaimed “Alice” of the Curated Bunch. I live in Valley City. The commute often gives me the opportunity to meet with one of my three adult children that live in Fargo. My background is in education but now I enjoy working at Curated Home or being Trever’s sidekick on installations. This allows me to feed my passion for power tools, box cutters, creativity and organization. In my free time I enjoy almost all outdoor activities, travel and reading.

Hello! My name is Megan Williams. I joined the THD Curated team one month after store launch in 2020.

She’s held both retail buying positions & a retail product rep position at Marshall Fields, Vanity & Target Corporation.  She can’t seem to escape the retail biz – and loves it.
She’s a North Dakota native who loves interacting with people & helping them find pieces that personalize their space and bring joy.

CEO of Customer Relations

As CEO of customer relations, my job is a full-time gig! From greeting shoppers at our Curated re-tail store to sniffing every piece of furniture, I am a busy gal. Quality service and time with our customers is my number one priority… aside from following my mom around of course. I have always been a woman of the workplace so naturally, I am very gifted at keeping everyone smiling. I don’t mean to brag, but I am one lucky dog!
